Diabetes and Endocrine Center Opens at Havasu Regional Medical Center

Lake Havasu City, AZ (April 7, 2016) – Havasu Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce that the Diabetes and Endocrine Center is now open and accepting new patients!

The Diabetes and Endocrine Center offers a high quality, comprehensive treatment and self -management education program that allows patients to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to live a long and healthy life with diabetes. Specially trained providers assist patients in understanding how their medications work and assist them in making lifestyle changes to control their diabetes.

Rachel Nelles, MSN, who is a board certified family nurse practitioner with extensive experience in diabetes and endocrine management, oversees the Diabetes and Endocrine Center. Her goal is to help patients and their families understand and control diabetes with education and treatment.

The Diabetes and Endocrine Center is located in the Medical Office Building at Havasu Regional Medical Center, 1851 Mesquite Avenue, Suite 202 in Lake Havasu City. Appointments may be scheduled by calling 928-854-0094.
