Lake Havasu City, AZ  (March 11, 2014) – Havasu Regional Medical Center (HRMC) is pleased to announce that Robert D. Peterson, M.D., has joined the medical staff of Havasu Regional Medical Center and opened his Primary Care Internal Medicine practice, ”Your Health Home, PLLC” in Lake Havasu City.

Your Health Home, PLLC is located at 2035 Mesquite Avenue, Suite C.  The Practice Mission is to provide safe and high quality environment, staff and equipment to promote the healing and wellness of the patients who entrust their health care and well-being to the practice. Dr. Peterson received his Bachelor of Science and Medical Degrees by completing the five-year cooperative pre-medical/medical program of Pennsylvania State University and Jefferson Medical College.  Further training included Internal Medicine Residency at Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Darby, Pennsylvania, Hematology-Oncology Fellowships at both The Lankenau Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and E.W. Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan.  Dr. Peterson is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Oncology but has limited his practice to Internal Medicine since 1997.

Before relocating to Lake Havasu City from Astoria, Oregon, Dr. Peterson practiced at Federally Qualified Health Centers in southwest Washington and northwest Oregon where he spearheaded Meaningful Use and Patient Centered Medical Home projects. 

Previous military service included Senior Flight Surgeon positions with United States Air Force bases in California, Germany and Nevada with multiple overseas deployments.  Prior to his military service, he delivered private practice services for Hematology and Oncology, and directed Hospice Services in Michigan and Tennessee locations.
