Havasu Regional Medical Center Receives Three 2025 AzHHA Quality Awards

Lake Havasu City, AZ (October 30, 2025) – Havasu Regional Medical Center is proud to announce it has been recognized as a 2025 AzHHA Quality Award winner in three categories.

The Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association (AzHHA) announced the winners of its Third Annual Quality Awards at the 2025 Quality Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. These awards were created to recognize Arizona's leaders who are committed to advancing healthcare through exceptional quality performance, community engagement, and a culture of continuous improvement.

Havasu Regional Medical Center received three exceptional recognitions at the AzHHA Leadership Conference 2025:

• Outstanding Patient/Community Impact Award – For implementing PIVO (a quality improvement initiative) to reduce blood culture contamination in the community hospital emergency department

• Clinical Excellence Award – For improving nurse retention and professional development through an innovative residency program

• Top Overall Excellence Award – For comprehensive excellence across quality and patient safety initiatives

"These awards reflect our entire team's unwavering dedication to advancing patient care and nursing excellence," said Danita Daley, Chief Nursing Officer.
